Great Work Ben.. I have just started using SignalR and the more I explore it the better it gets. There can be n number of use cases where I can fit it in my already existing web app and this was just one of them where I needed to know the number of active users using my app. As you no this is real time information so its much better than normal calls of Session_start and Session_end to iterate through number of users who have logged in and are active. The only business logic I have to write is to add my user information like name etc and then I am good to go.
